It’s crazy to think that Skyrim will be nearly 17 years old when Bethesda “plans” to release TES VI. Especially considering that as much time will have passed since the release of Skyrim that Skyrim had since the release of Arena.

I think being reminded of Skyrim’s age every year is so surprising because Skyrim has BY FAR the greatest staying power of any game ever made. There is consistently more coverage and recognition of Skyrim by fans every year than some games get in the month immediately after release it feels like.

I’m sure no small part of that is due to Bethesda re-releasing it a lot but you could say the same about like GTAV but that game doesn’t seem to get anywhere near the same amount of coverage.

IDK. Skyrim is sick as hell even if I can’t make myself slog through it anymore. I was 13 when it came out. I’m 25 now. We’re getting a new BGS game for the first time in 8 years in a couple months. Linear time is wild.
